In my department, we specialise in robotic welding. We produce series components and parts that have to meet strict requirements. Because team members switch roles regularly, everyone knows how to operate all the robots. And if they have a question, I’m always happy to help—as a former welder myself. At the same time, I don’t want us to do things just because ‘that’s how we’ve always done them’. That’s why I’m always open to new ideas.

Everyone on our team can contribute to new processes, products, and programs. For example, our new endless-wire system now ensures a continuous supply of welding wire. We’re also exploring the possibilities of AI. We visit trade fairs, take workshops with suppliers, and have conversations with clients. These activities aren’t just extras—they’re an important part of our work.
